Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to enable cookies?
We require "cookies" to be enabled on your browser, to provide page-to-page continuity and security.  If you enable cookies on a per-site basis, make sure you allow cookies to be set for secure2.osac.state.or.us domain (the Ofax site).  A page on google (http://www.google.com/cookies.html) explains how to enable cookies.  We don't re-use cookies after your session, so delete them when your loan request has successfully completed.
Why do I need to enable JavaScript?
We do require JavaScript to be enabled.  We use JavaScript to do checking of the forms (making sure you have the required data).
Why did I get a "timed out" message?
You need to complete the OFAX requests within 20 minutes, or else your session will expire.  For security reasons, we do not keep your OFAX session open indefinitely.
I'm still having problems.  What now?
PLEASE fill out a feedback form.  We would like to know what type of computer you are using (PC or Mac/Apple), what browser you are using, what version of browser you are using, and a detailed description of your problem.
How do I print the web pages?
Print a web page by selecting the menu item "File" and then "Print" at the top of your browser, or by clicking on the printer icon in your browser.
